We were frustrated by the inward looking tendency of many consulting firms and consultants, where revenue is the key and sometimes the sole success driver and where loyalty to the firm is no longer a motivator for employees. This often leads to selfish behaviours that ultimately affect the service being delivered.
So, we brought the focus back onto the client success and looked at how we could build an organisation where all its infrastructure and processes underpin this core aim.
To help get the right model we researched other industries and collaborative and disruptive business models (e.g. challenger banks, low cost airlines, taxis, media, online sellers and sport) to learn how they have put the focus back on the client and to see how we can leverage this to improve the delivery of consulting services.
